New Delhi: Rohan Mirchandani, the founder of popular snack food brand Epigamia, passed away on Saturday after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was 41 years old. The company, known for its range of flavored yoghurts and juices, announced the heartbreaking news in an official statement.
Drums Food International, the parent company of Epigamia, expressed deep sorrow over the loss and requested privacy for Mirchandani’s family during this difficult time. The company assured stakeholders that the senior leadership team, led by COO Ankur Goel and co-founder Uday Thakker, will continue to manage daily operations with full support from the board of directors and Mirchandani’s family.
“All of us at the Epigamia family will deeply mourn this loss. Rohan was our mentor, friend, and leader. We remain committed to carrying forward his dream with strength and dedication. His vision and values will continue to guide us as we honor the foundation he built,” said Goel and Thakker in a joint statement.
The company board also paid tribute to Mirchandani, highlighting his dedication, passion, and innovative approach to building Epigamia. “Rohan’s unwavering commitment and deep passion have left an indelible mark on all of us. His legacy will inspire us as we strive to take Epigamia to even greater heights,” the board added.
Epigamia is known for offering products free from artificial colors and preservatives, made with real fruit pulp, aligning with Mirchandani’s vision of promoting healthy eating habits.
